We are new to the area and thought we would try The Goldfish Bowl for fish & chips with mushy peas. We were not disappointed, it will be our new go-to place for fish & chips. The food is good, service was prompt and the staff were friendly and efficient. Good value too. Worth the 5 stars!

This is a proper fish and chip shop.👍 We called for a lunchtime special each of fish, chips and peas and having driven 25 miles to test we were so pleased we had done the right thing. This is a chip shop to which others should measure up, the food was delicious, freshly prepared and good value for money. The mushy peas were as they should be. If we lived closer we would be in on a regular basis. You can see why they are so busy. Well done to one and all. Thank You ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had Today’s Special of Chicken Curry and Chips for a bargain price of just £3.95, and a portion good enough for two people. Amazing Value and Really Delicious too!! We have been going to The Goldfish Bowl for Takeaway for years and it’s always been our favourite place in Cheadle. The staff are always welcoming, well dressed, and super friendly. With an abundance of food choices in and around the town, We always choose The Goldfish Bowl as We have never had a bad experience yet. Congratulations to everyone who works at this amazing asset to our local town. One very happy Customer.

Proper fish and chips. The fish was excellent with a tasty batter that didn't overwhelm the fish. Top notch chips. The only (minor) complaint was not enough salt and vinegar. But honestly, one of the best chippies there is.
